I went for a job interview a few weeks ago and was asked to send her “something that inspires me”.

I had no idea of the level of work she was expecting of me. So it was a case of do too little and it would appear as if you don’t care. Do too much and you may seem overly eager. But as it goes, the latter never can do any damage (unless I really didn’t do enough).

And for the record, I didn’t get the job. But that’s OKAYYY!
